- I have a Zoom V.34x, and I almost always get a full 28.8k carrier. The
- lowest I've even seen is 26.4k. You are talking about carrier, right? This
- could be either the quality of your phone lines, which you can't do a
- thing about, or your setup, perhaps your PPP script or something. The
- init string I use, in case it matters, is AT&F&C1&D0W1. The W1 just gives
- me the full readout of carrier speed and everything.
